Accelerated Arithmetic Optimization Algorithm by Cuckoo Search for Solving Engineering Design Problems

Several metaheuristic algorithms have been implemented to solve global optimization issues. Nevertheless, these approaches require more enhancement strike a suitable harmony between exploration and exploitation. Consequently, this paper proposes improving the arithmetic algorithm (AOA) engineering issues based on cuckoo search called AOACS. The developed approach uses operators improve ability of exploitation operations AOA. AOACS enhances convergence ratio presented technique find optimum solution. performance is examined using 23 benchmark functions CEC-2019 show proposed work different numerical problems. evaluated four design problems: welded beam, three-bar truss, stepped cantilever speed reducer design. Finally, results are compared with state-of-the-art prove approach. illustrated an outperformance other methods measurement.
